Red Roses in the Clay Pot

I tried to capture this gorgeous red roses in the low evening light. They came out pretty dark, silhouetted against bright yellow spot of color on the wall from the source of light. The idea was also make the harmonious painting, where all the colors are pretty close, in the warm group of colors. The yellow/green pot is the present of my daughter to my birthday. She is a ceramic artist and made it herself.

Framed.
